Made it to Corfu ok, a few bottom scrapes on the ferries and really heavy rain all the way through France last week.
The only problems were electrical, the light switch started buzzing and got hot on the headlight position, I only expected to need my headlights in the tunnels but the weather was so bad through France I needed them on to be seen. More of a problem is that the indicator switch has stopped working on the right turn position. Has anyone had one of these apart? I have visions of 23 year old hardened plastic, springs and contacts flying everywhere.
Does anyone know what parts bin was raided for the steering column stalks and switches back in 1990?
I replaced my 1994 +8 one and it was a Triumph 2000 & 2500 model stalk.
