I've droned on at length about how on my Morgan, one face out of four is suffering a covering of light rust. A lot depends on how much use and what type of use. If you're light on the brakes they will never clean completely. I do try to give the Roadster brakes a good work out occasionally, so a few heavy applications keep the discs good in summer. Mine are not originals anyway, because owner 1 went totally greenstuff on the front, but the old discs came with the car and after less than 5000 miles had the imprint of the pads in rust on all four faces.
