I'm not saying releasing the factory service manual is necessary, I agree that most auto makers don't ever release these to the public and I understand the rational. However, I don't feel that releasing a parts manual would be a bad thing or hurt their business in any way. If anything, it may help it.

In the US, dealerships are many thousands of miles apart and often people will be living no where near one. This means that more than likely for most of their car maintenance and repairs, they will be doing their own work or contracting people to do it for them who aren't part of the Morgan network. This is not your average auto maker where another dealership is right around the corner.
