With respect I don't really agree with this comment, three of us drove the M3W on the
Marfan Challenge to Nordkapp and back. 5,500 miles in all sorts of conditions in 14-days.
After getting water in the fuel, we had a problem with the injector on one cylinder, and the 3W was driven on 1-cylinder only for over 600 miles, before it self-righted itself. All of us were amazed by the performance of the car and its inherent toughness and apart from the water in the fuel problem, it had no other issues whatsoever and kept up with the more powerful cars in the group.
Some of the roads really were appalling and nothing broke or fell off and it returned completely under its own steam, as did all the other Morgan's!
Nothing else to add really, this little car has got an iron heart...
