Very fastidious, well done.
As a side note your rebound spring covers are working a treat. I had them off for a greasing on the weekend and are all in good shape.
I finally made a start on servicing the Roadster today.
First I removed the tool tray, which needed a bit of touching up (satin black wood), due to rubbing. It had also had a hole punched through by the rear axle breather. Oops! This must have happened after the damper on that side broke off, so I've enlarged the hole and fitted a plastic cap. I'll post some photos soon. It had also cracked around one of the securing screw holes, but nothing some wood glue won't fix. I also need to rationalise my 'tools' because having two Mogs means I need some things duplicating, so that's another job to consider.
I moved the brake pipe union forward half an inch on the axle so that the flexi hose no longer rubs on the tank.
Then I removed the rear dampers - easy when not fixed at the bottom, and de-rusted the bodies. They are quite badly rusted, despite minimal exposure to the wet, but nothing a file, and some etch primer and satin black can't fix. I also noted that the lower bushes have a small degree of wear, due no doubt to axle wind up!!
All that took a couple of hours this afternoon, and I'll continue the job tomorrow.
