Recently purchased a Russian MIG clock from the Ukraine. Wasn't quite sure if it would arrive and what condition it would be in but have been pleasantly surprised. It has a mechanical 5 day movement and is extremely accurate!
The standard finish is satin black painted bezel which was in good condition apart from a couple of slight dents. I dismantled the clock and stripped off the paint and it has buffed up surprisingly well using 1500 grade wet and dry and buffing pads on my Dremel with a variety of polishing compounds. The next job is to take a deep breath and cut a hole in the dash for it.
