Finally finished the gruelling underside today. Had the full offside to do, so dropped the exhaust for access. The exhaust needed a bit of work to restore shinyness, and three previously used U bolts from the Roadster. So another full day underneath, and my garage clothes have taken a hammering. The exhaust is now back on, and the underside is cleaned and tectyled. The front offside wheel was hard work. The paint had dulled as if cleaning fluid had reacted with the paint, but in the end,thinners lifted the dullness. Quite a relief. So now I can move on to polishing, and maybe the rear mudflaps before Shelsley. I've also found man who can edge my home made "Tonneau". Pictures to follow when I get time. Full of wine right now.
