So next I made a start on the read mudflaps, using circuit boards from Maplins. They are copper faced, but it's not obvious here - in fact they look more like cardboard.
Marked and drilled to fit the rear wing stays......
This is at the glueing stage, onto polypropylene sheet, in this case 10" x 20". Masked to keep the glue where it should be.
This one is notched to clear the chassis, and shaped to clear the exhaust:

This is the rear, blacked with Dinitrol:
And that's the dirty jobs done for now.
The front mudflaps will take a lot more effort.
