In the UK, Toyota had the largest
number of cars recalled last year, but they do sell a lot in the first place. They recalled 37,448 Auris, Yaris and Rav4's (for the window switch mentioned by Richard). In addition their reputation for reliability means that they tend to make the news whenever they issue a recall.
