Well I have just parted with £900 quid for a new fuel pump plus 6 hours of labour!!!!
Interestingly when I went to the breakers to get the second hand connector the yard owner mentioned that these parts (connectors to the fuel pump) were always burning out. He asked me if it was not a Mondeo was it a kit car----to which I sarcastically replied " sort off"
HiAm I right in assuming that this is for the pump in the tank?If so, then two points:1) The live feed should be fused, so as to avoid a serious vehicle fire! Would strongly suggest modifying the existing system to incorporate this as close as possible to the load, ie pump.2) The (diesel) Mondeo cars which I have dismantled do not have a pump in the tank, so the connectors are of no use to you. On the flipside, petrol mondeo cars are not worth a carrot, so the parts would be dirt cheap. At worst you may have to buy the sender unit with it.Hope this helpsKind Regards
