The bracing that is welded to the floor of the frame to hold the pedal assembly would have to be transferred to the top of the frame. It would also limit access from the top through that oh, so tiny hole...

Only way out I can see is a serious redesign of something that is not all that bad to something that would work a bit better. If this doesn't make any sense then blame my peckishness at having to garage my little blue bomb over the coming Winter and I am not at all happy about it!

My other comment on this involves an opinion, which is entirely mine, which has nothing to do with anything... The young man what designed this car is shorter than 5'10", weighs less than 150 lb., does not have arthritis or excessive wear and tear on his body and doesn't care one wit about this subject at all...


What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.
