It looks exactly like the MMC "Le Mans" gear knob - and is (I'm pretty sure) made by Richbrook - it's their "Touring" gear knob - available online for 22 pounds delivered as opposed to the 75 odd pounds it costs from the factory! Well worth it.
Have one for fitting to my car with the shortened gear stick - it just fits with 3 grub screws, so will happily go onto a cut down stick, effectively making you a short shifter for very little...
