Not quite the whole story; i think.
The original one was alloy with no way of re-lubricating
Originals were re-worked to add grease nipples by drilling the bell housing then drill and tapping the compensator housing for two grease nipples diametrically opposed.
The 2014 allegedly has an improved design; not sure anyone has seen one yet in the flesh?
