Max - the improved headers were designed for the series 1 (cereal 1 correct me if I'm incorrect). Therefore those particular ones won't be a solution for an Aeromax...

Not sure any other 'max owners having the issue? I've seen it once in mine after a long run and after turning the car off and restarting it was gone. (No Italian tune up required).

If its happening repeatedly, then it points to another issue.

Everything is packed in tight under the bonnet, and knock on effects are possible. Check everything obvious, coolant and oil as a starting point - if the engine is running hot then the electrics can potentially go a bit wonky. There are several common fail points out there due to heat soak - e.g. Power steering failure, brake light check light and other electrical warnings can happen due to the above. Screenwash leaks under the hood due to a split pipe can also make the dash light up like a Christmas tree too..

Having run 4 Aeros over 10 years, I've generally discovered that electrics are the weakest link, and unnaturally hot, wet, damp, cold days are when these issues tend to be most likely to occur...

I don't have anything other than anecdotal evidence for the above, but I do t think its particularly controversial in concept.
