The three wheeler has a dry powder type (very limited size wise), although I'd prefer an AFFF type as there two basic problems with dry powder. Clumping of extinguishant, so you must shake and hit it around before use and if you use it on a running engine - you are very likely to need a rebuild.
Many years ago I've put out a underbonnet fire on somebody else's car, although the type of extinguisher I used is now illegal - a halon one.
As a driver, you are on the scene, and thus can use the extinguisher early on, so have a reasonable chance of success.
