[It's illegal as far as I know to sell a car with a removeable steering wheel, so although the Quick-Release mechanism is supplied by the factory, the bolts that secure it do not allow removal of the wheel, as designed. But if you happen to notice this and cut down the bolts, most people discover a new facility that was not there at time of purchase
