I have to say that after one year I never had the need of raising it.
@Deano: do you remember which trolley jack did you buy?
The one I have at home it's obviously too high.
At least, if I decide to buy a new one, I'll take the right one.
It's a 2T aluminium trolly jack from UK supplier Machine Mart. They have a good website, take a look. I am sure other suppliers also sell similar.
