How do you go about getting the rear wheel off? I am not far off needing a new rear tyre and don't fancy paring a dealer to do it, and would not trust a tyre center to do the job.
Quite simple. Jck back of car up until rear wheel _just_ about to lift off, so there's miniman load on the shoch mounts. Easiest way by far is to but a length of 2"x1" across the car in front of the rear wheel and pop a trolley jack under each end. Jack away and up she pops. Then release the two top shock mounts and then jack up until the swing arms and rear wheel appear under the rising car. Release wheel bolts and off she comes.
