I think that the S1 could use high-flow manifolds, and so exhaust fabricator I have been referred to by some Lotus friends is in talks to look at my Aero and see how difficult/expensive it would be to make some up. The ones sold by RTCC look appealing but are horrendously pricey, so I thought that I would explore another route.
At some point over summer I shall take my car to them for inspection – but in the meantime they would like some photos of the manifold area so that they know what sort of space (!) they are dealing with. Anyone able to help out here?
If they manage to design a decent system, all of us Aero owners should benefit as they’ll want to do more (that’s how I’m getting them to consider it, anyway!).
