I agree that the car still needs to retain its' period charm, but there are just so many areas that can be made thinner or with better triangulation and smaller tubes. 100kgs would be a big ask, but I am certain, that with commitment it could be done, preferably not by Morgan men, they just don't seem to have the right mind set, sorry guys but looking at all your product, I have to say that, but a specialised outside consultancy could work wonders.
It's interesting that all journalist, almost without exception seem to think that 525 kgs [aprox] is light, yes against most cars it is, but it is one of the heaviest three wheelers ever made.
An improvement still to be made, would be to move all the foot pedals over to the right a bit, [on right hand drive cars of course]and make some room for a clutch foot. The brake and accelerator pedals could be closer to help heel and toe gear changes, at the moment I have to use my heel on the lower part of the accelerator instead of being able to cover both pedals with one foot. I have it in mind to ask the ever helpful Bill Chaplin at Empire racing cars to modify my pedals for me when he has some time, which may not be until next winter the way he is going.
