Good to know. I am not alone.
I can move this point from "issues" to "features".

The dealer principal (owned/imported Morgans for 30 years) said that this was a Morgan feature - and you would get wet in an Aeromax. In his conversations with Charles, Charles said "It is a Morgan"!!!

They are also going to remount the boot leathers with super sticky sticky stuff.

They did say just how many tweaks they normally do to the cars to get them closer to the build quality expected over here.

The draft from the door did appear to let in a little water - howere I suspect the wet leg was coming from the windscreen - water pooling inside and dripping down. So should be resolved with the screen being refitted. The fuel pump sound is totally normal - and in my view comes from it being mounted so close to the cabin - right up against the rear bulkhead. In a normal car you'd never hear it. This theory holds water when I think of my race car - flick the ignition on and you can hear the pumps pressurise and begin to whir - before being lost in a cacophony of noise.

With the sun out, I have taken the SS to work today - and will have to park it away from the client when I see them later this afternoon!! - my usual commute includes an open hairpin - which leads onto a straight perfect for overtaking. I noted this morning (at 6c) that vigourous use of the accelerator, in second gear, will get the car sliding!!
