I think that is because 'Advanced' drivers are encouraged to employ a sustained gearchange technique, rather than a blip, it is smoother and probably better for the engine and for fuel consumption, but nowhere near as much fun as banging down the box, foot on the brake and blipping madly with the [in the Three Wheeler] the heel. Not necessarily good or relaxing driving for road use, but, hey, we need all the practice we can get.
