My first Morgan 40 years ago had a tiny radio hidden under the bulkhead on the passenger's side, which was hardly worth trying to tune as it was impossible to hear unless sitting at a traffic lights. I never thought about a radio in my Caterhams, preferring the sound of the engine, and I feel the same about the current Roadster, but it's good to know there are options for playing music from the iPad. When I put it on the seat the other day the built in speaker was not - to put it mildly - very effective.
