The top of the number plate is 14.5" from the ground, so "allowed", if a little stupid as it would put the light below the normal brake lights, which on Aldermog are centred at 19.5".

But as a second LED brake light? Then when the top one is obscured there would still be one visible?

I got the "rules" from the instructions supplied with an after market LED brake light, I think they need checking further. But fitting above the numberplate would be easy.
