Mine had the sports exhaust when I bought it , but I have the original which I'm going to fit to see what it sounds like.
The sound on mine definately comes alive once you get past 4000rpm when she realy starts to motor

You might want to rethink the protective film , the front end presents a nice target for stones
I'm thinking of have some fitted to mine
The battery conditioner is a good idea for winter , some of the best drives I had this year were in Jan/feb so knowing she will start when you want to is a plus.
