Not a difficult job just but quite physical.
Whilst clearing the garage this morning after the aftermath of the spring change I thought I would record for prosperity my spring deflector. Albeit a little crude and embarrassing it did the job however. It was put together very hurriedly out of odds and ends from my scrap box when frustratingly I realised that my 10 1/2 stone weight wasn’t going to deflect the springs. Note the LH and RH ends. I recall seeing somebody else post something similar a while ago but I can’t recall who.
