The way mine sounds I might try the old "bananas in the gear box" trick. My new dealer flushed it three times and it isn´t much quieter.
It is slightly less noisy at careful acceleration, but only there.
The compensator, on the other hand, is MUCH more civilized after they fitted a nipple and refilled it.
