Torque: 134 lb-ft @ 4025 rpm
It's possible, but I would doubt the M3W actually puts down 116 hp to the rear wheel. Based on cam specs and other articles I've read, it's probably a crank dyno spec, not a rear wheel dyno spec.
But either way, it does a great job of motivating one down the road and as you guys have often said, it exceeds the limits of the rear tire. So how much more could you realistically use?
I get the magazine and read the article there. It was more of a journey report than a car review, but they did enjoy the car a lot. I think everyone that has reviewed the car as well as you owners all agree that it's smiles per mile, not actual performance that's the key to this car's success.
