My quest to get the car on the road took a step backwards last Saturday, the man at the ministry (license office) was unable to recognize the Vin #, something to do with the number not being in the system. In the meantime I checked out brakes, lights etc, unfortunately the only item not working was the hazard warning lights and clock, checked the gomog Web site for direction, it pointed towards the fuse block, after much searching I eventually found it under the dash, the Web Page said check fuse #8 for post 93 +8 cars, on my fuse block the fuse was missing, bingo I've found the problem. WRONG
I concluded that this slot wasn't used seeing that there was only one contact present. Back to the drawing board.
While changing the battery last week I noticed a live wire off the isolation switch terminal, the wire had an inline 10amp fuse hidden between the battery and the bulkhead so I removed the battery and found the blown fuse. Luck at last.
Hopefully I can get the Vin sorted tomorrow
