Just a short post to say I picked up my Aero 8 over the holiday weekend.
Here it is at Morgan Spares in Copake NY. The proprietors are absolutely top notch, with lots (by US standards) of interesting Morgans and "UK orphans" as they call them
It's a 2005 LHD Series II, VIN ends in J00338.
First fill-up and my the first time in my life I've spent an unplanned 30-minutes at a gas station talking about my car:

I don't have the original window sticker, but I believe the color is known as silver shark (I appreciate any help on discovering the actual color):

It's unlike ANYTHING I've owned in almost every conceivable way. I'm still getting used to the driving experience and have no idea what's normal and what an issue I should look to "sort". For example quickly stabbing the throttle to "blatting" levels of exhaust noise makes the AC light flash--I'm hoping the light is secretly a decibel meter or a gentle reminder to not be a total prick.
We virtually NO Morgan experts in my area (Washington DC), so I hope you don't mind asking some questions here. For instance, the dash wood rubs the windshield every so slightly--surely there's a way to adjust something or insert a thin shim of some sort...
Stalking the board and asking questions before I purchased was a HUGE help, you guys are great. So happy to finally be a fully fledged member of the club!
