Took delivery of a new +4 only 5 days ago. The knob on top of the quick release handbrake (the one you press down to lock hand break on) appears to have popped off the top of the hand break shaft, still closely connected but cannot get it to go back over the shaft in order to put, and leave the handbrake on. Have tried turning it but do not know if there is a position the knob has to be in to fit over the shaft again. As it is a new car do not want to use brute force if there is an easy answer. Have done a search to see if this problem covered elsewhere but have found nothing. Any advice please as am on holiday in France and miles to any Morgan garage.
