I have tried various pressures on the Plus 4. Initially I found 1.5 bar (22 psi) too squirmy at the rear and increased to 1.7 bar (25 psi) all round. After I had the panhard rod fitted I found that I could reduce the pressure back to 1.5 bar but I have just checked tyre wear and I have found that the rears are slightly more worn on the shoulders. (When swmbo is not in the car I tend to push much harder in the corners wink ) Certainly the back end really sticks to the road but this wear pattern seems to indicate that the rears are somewhat underinflated. I plan to try 1.5 bar front and 1.6 or 1.7 bar rear. I realise that the lower pressure grips better and hope to arrive at a compromise between ride, feeling and grip.
