I'been thinking about doing that (leasing one for a year or so) since I got the news about the delay but winter in NY is coming and I would prefer a hardtop to drive the car on a daily basis. Doesn't make sense to get a lease with a soft top only now I think.
Incidentally I took a look at the car you mentioned on the autoeurope site and I believe it might be the one I test drove last march at the North east dealership. Nice car indeed.

You might look at the blue car autoeurope has in detroit area, new Aero America car, blue with chestnut brown interior. You could make a deal drive the aero for the year or so and trade it in to your dealer,probably not lose to many nickles either.The ones out there appear to be the last of the 6 speed cars if that makes a difference to you.The blue car isa good looking car, i preffered the interior of mine, outside color was a toss up...
