Everybody should coexist, but be aware of the other person and be polite towards them, and the fact that cyclists and horse riders pay no tax or insurance is just a red herring, to ensure that car drivers are more justified in their criticsim.
I believe the issue is that the cyclists are not traceable. There was an issue in the past 3 years or so where we had a group of Stratford upon Avon cyclist barging their way through a street party (with an official street closure), eventhough the cycling club was identifiable with there cycling outfits, no one at the club owned up to taking part in the rabble that rode through the street party. Enough said.
