I occasionally have that problem too. I suspect it is more likely some minor issue with the ECU.

With throttle bodies it is also important not to have any pressure on the throttle when you turn on the ignition and you must wait for the pre-start checks to complete. The Omex ECU registers the zero throttle position every time you turn it on so if you have your foot on the throttle the zero position registered will be wrong. I don't think that applies to the standard setup.

PS. The instruments are run by the standard ECU. The Omex ECU only runs the engine management.
