thanks for the responses, in fact I've visited Allon White where I test drove a 2006 +4 and I'm still trying to decide if it's the correct car for me. They also have a supercharged 2005 +4 and although I haven't driven this car, it's very tempting, although on the other hand I'm not convinced buying a highly modified example is a good idea.

When buying a car that is modified for performance it can make a big difference on insurance, statement of the obvious really but when I was looking I talked it through with the insurers and came to the conclusion that unmodified made it easier for me to justify the costs to myself
