Yes thats how I've been attepting it.
Car is now completely refusing to turn - I've got new battery cables and tried two separate and new batteries. three struggling turns ang the battery is effectively dead.
So is it the starter not being man enough for the job, particularly with modified cams etc?
Looks like I have the standard starter and was thinking of changing for a high torque gared version. However struggling on compatability - mine is a M16 rover and I cant find it listed on Powerlite or Wosp sites. Can I assume it is the same as T16 compatability?
Or has anyone a recommendation?
