Not sure why? Surely it makes sense if you want to end your life, to make appropriate gifts of whatever you want to before you die, rather than leaving to be sorted out by executors of your will? That way there would be nothing to be gained from a wicked grandson or whoever from persuading a doctor to knock off great Aunt Nellie in order to get his hands on her estate?
