In July we were on a cruise with a port of call on Orkney at Kirkwall.
The Highland Park distillery is there.
A tour was a must do....how often can you get to Orkney?!!!
In the shop there were bottles for sale...yes I did as I like Highland Park!
The top of the range whiskey was well in excess of £1k, maybe even more - my memory can't recall.
Penderyn in S Wales does some limited editions, one being £250 a bottle when I was there about 5 or 6 years ago, but obviously not available as a complimentary sample!
