I needed to take advantage of this afternoon's fine weather , so I took my +8 out for a drive down to Borough Green and visited BHM.
I can confirm that the BHM `+4 demonstrator (the lime green one) is shod with Avon ZV5 tyres and not the "competition" CR6 ZZ. They are 195/60 x 15, but there may be other options.
Just out of interest I asked Keith (who has driven more different Morgans than most) about the CR6 ZZ which he has fitted on his own 4/4. He is of the opinion that they cope with deep water very well indeed, much better than any other he has used on Morgans despite the lack of any deep tread. He does also agree that the levels of dry and wet grip from these tyres is exceptional , the only improvement he could think of would be pure racing tyres.
