Delighted with the quality of this tray: at a stroke it solves what I've always considered to be a rather shoddy aspect of the build of my Roadster.
I wanted to give the internal surface of the tray some "resilience" - for want of a better word - and didn't fancy trying to cut and paste numerous odd-shaped pieces of neoprene (sorry Dave), so I searched online and found
Protectakote. This is a South African product, with multiple uses, such as lining the inside of pick-up beds. You end up with a kind of granular surface which contains rubber crumb, meaning that items placed in the tray don't slip around and clatter on the alloy surface. It should also add an element of sound-proofing. It ain't particularly cheap - but it's effective, and reasonably easy to apply. I'd recommend it on my experience so far (no connection - obviously).
