It doesn't make a lot of sense as the current 2.0l Ecoboost engines turn out at least 240 hp and torque that competes with the 3.7 Roadster. The 1.6l Ecoboost that turns out 182hp may be better. The advantage of a turbocharged engine is the development of high torque at relatively low rpm.
Personally I think I would prefer a low boost supercharger.
Peter, I have recently taken delivery of a Ford Kuga with that very same turbocharged 1.6 182PS Ecoboost engine, even though it's still tight (700 miles) it's streets better than my old 1.6 VVTi in the car I traded in. Already it seems to want to rev and its low down torque is very good. I have it nailed to an Auto box because of leg problems but even so it's impresive. In a Morgan I think it would be VERY interesting, bring it on!
