I'd agree that the GTN and AeroMax have differing core purposes.

I see the GTN as the road-going version of the Aero 8 Le Mans racer - in essence, the Aero 8 S1 with a hardtop (you can remove the GTNs roof), larger engine (tuned by Alpina for BMW) and some mild cosmetic amendments (front splitter and black wheels). The spiritual successor of this car would be the Aero 8 GT3 imhop.

The AeroMax is an extension of the coach built nature of all Morgans - after all, it was created when one person came to the factory with the desire to create a unique vehicle for his personal use.

The roof puts it into the class of GT and when fitted with the automatic (which again, imho, suits the character of the this car perfectly), it really does suit the roll of grand tourer.

I would sorely love to own one of each but for completely differing reasons. cloud9
