In preparation for an engine pull, I want to install a quality, high-output alternator system on my M3W. Assuming I can get my mechanical issues under control, I want the ability to run additional electrical goodies and even heated gear. Though I want output, it's quality I'm most concerned with. An alternator swap on a bike is minor compared to an alternator swap on a M3W...obviously.
While I have it apart, I don't want to go back with anything that is of questionable quality. I know there are folks on here that keep up with what's available for V-twins (Dan Lockwood?)and am trying to compile parts before starting this project.
