Well to be fair there's no way of getting it wrong, a one sided image is the same either way up.

Oh yes there is. The Union Flag can be flown upside down. It signifies that the flier is in distress.
Maybe it not so obvious on this badge but you can make out the dominance of the Saltire Cross in the top left quadrant.
