Oh yes there is. The Union Flag can be flown upside down. It signifies that the flier is in distress. laugh
Maybe it not so obvious on this badge but you can make out the dominance of the Saltire Cross in the top left quadrant.


So perhaps the M3W boys need the badges so that they can turn them upside down when the bevel box is getting too noisey? innocent hide
