Hi rolsmith , I think you are right in thinking that the bevel box can only be fitted to the latest frame with the isolation hardware . I had a new frame fitted by the factory after my original one cracked , the bevel box is now fitted with the isolating kit and there doesn't seem to be any other way of mounting it .
As to whether it makes any difference to the noise , I can't say I've noticed any difference , but I'm lucky in that mine has always been pretty quiet !
I do feel that the new frame (I also got new uprights ) has made a big difference , everything feels tighter and more precise .
The Centra compensator is also well worth while .
As for the Suplex shocks....I'm sure you will have read the various discussions on here ! I have them fitted and after a lot of fiddling around I am pleased with them the rear ones took the most sorting , but with the rough roads round here I at least no longer have the bottoming out and squirming around , although the rear is still quite firm .
