Haven't found one yet Tim and maybe (only maybe) I'm too sensible?? now! laugh2

Luckily, as I never drink to excess (ahem) that's never happened to me.

But seriously Roger, whisky is an acquired taste, so you need to work at it. Believe me, if you do it will pay you back in spades. Maybe start with an Irish whiskey (such as Black Bush) with a splash of water. Irish whiskey is triple distilled and as smooth as Roger Moore. (Scotch, apart from Auchentoshan is double distilled) You can then start on the more challenging stuff.

All this chat about whisky makes me think it's time for a wee dram of Old Pulteney. Cheers

Giles - perhaps one of these days we'll meet up en mass in the Mogs. & you can hold a whiskey & whisky course to educate the non whisky drinkers like me! You'd have to treat me gently as I'd need some psychological counselling to overcome my previous bad experiences! What you say sounds sensible.
