So this morning I jacked up the front and put the wheels on blocks and cleaned of the underneath of the engine casing with Jizer and Meguiars engine cleaner.
As you can see from the pics below I have some pitting developing on the casing mainly at the front, presumably from stones hits. What is the best was to deal with this, initially I thought clean with Autosol Metal polish and once good protect with high temperature clear lacquer? any advise from those that are retentive on this sort of thing would be welcome.
