I know what you mean. My car originally had the poor quality 4 leaf springs that Morgan were fitting in late 2011 to early 2012. They were replaced by 5 leaf spings under warranty because of the low ground clearance and the fact that I could not get in and out of my garage. Dan White of Suplex has developed some new 4 leaf asymmetric springs which are of very good quality and designed reduce axle tramp. I believe these would offer a softer ride to the 5 leaf springs and not be so subject to bottoming out.
